Matthew Parker, MD, FACC, FASE
Dr. Matthew Parker i a graduate of Boston University and Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed training in internal medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and in cardiology at the University of Connecticut and Hartford Hospital. He currently serves as Medical Directory of Echocardiography and Noninvasive Cardiology at UMass Memorial Medical Center and is associate professor of medicine in cardiology at UMass TH Chan Medical School. He is an active volunteer with the American Society of Echocardiography and American College of Cardiology.

Steve Walling, BS, ACS, RCS, RDCS, FASE

Steve Walling has been employed at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford CT as an echocardiographer since 2008. He graduated from Springfield College, MA with a BS degree in Exercise Science in 2005. At Saint Francis Hospital Steve served as the lead echocardiographer for over six years, where he was an integral part of educating the University of Connecticut Cardiology Fellows and Cardiology staff. In 2013 he earned his Fellowship of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE) and in 2020 he took over as the program director and clinical coordinator of the Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute School of Cardiovascular Technology.
As an educator, Mr. Walling is very involved in the field of echocardiography. He has been associated at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) as an adjunct faculty (Professor) as well as working in research as a clinical research assistant at Connecticut Children’s Hospital and Medical Center (CCMC). In 2021 he received his Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) credential and is actively involved with the ASE and continues to educate in all areas of echocardiography throughout the country and internationally, most recently working in hospitals in Germany, Australia, and Spain.

Crystal Blake-Parlin ACS, RDCS, RVT, FASE
Pen Bay Medical Center - Rockport, ME
A graduate of SMCC, Crystal became registered as RDCS in 2001 and then after cross training in vascular, RVT. With a passion for being the best songrapher possible, she went on to become FASE in 2014 then continued on to become an Advance Cardiac Sonographer in 2019.
She has a dedication to teach others while also being a lifelong learner.

Nadine Deacy, BS, RDCS, RVT
CEUS Key Account Manager, Bracco Diagnostics
Nadine started her career in Cardiology after obtaining a BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of NH. She quickly continued her education and training in the areas of echo and vascular to get certified as RDCS and RVT. After working clinically for 18 years, scanning in area hospitals and managing a cardiology clinic, she continued her love of echo on the industry side working for GE in Clinical Applications and now with Bracco Diagnostics as the Sr. LUMASON® Key Account Manager for the Northeast.
Outside of work and echo, Nadine loves running, yoga, skiing and paddleboarding along with spending time with her two children, Brielle and Nolan and husband Michael.

Staci Riley, BS, RDCS, RVT, RDMS
Senior Clinical Applications Specialist, Bracco Diagnostics, Inc.
Staci began her career in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and furthered her education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, gaining extensive training in areas such as adult and pediatric echocardiography, vascular imaging, abdominal, OB/Gyn, neurosonography, and small parts imaging. She holds certifications as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Abdomen (ABD) and Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/Gyn), a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Adult Echocardiography (AE), and a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). Staci completed her bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Healthcare Management from Siena Heights University in Adrian, MI.
Staci’s passion for continued education, training, and technology began with her first role as a Clinical Applications Specialist at Diasonics Ultrasound, which was later acquired by GE Healthcare. She then moved on to Hewlett Packard as a Clinical Specialist, which later became part of Philips Healthcare. Her family moved from Michigan to Connecticut where she took on a new challenge as the manager of the Cardiovascular Imaging Department at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London. Her role expanded to include General Ultrasound Manager, a position she held for over 13 years.
Staci’s enthusiasm for education, technology, and collaboration led her to a rewarding opportunity with Bracco Diagnostics as a Clinical Applications Specialist. She is devoted to providing the highest quality of care to her patients and is committed to helping others in the field do the same. Her dedication to excellence and her passion for continued learning make her a respected leader and mentor in the medical imaging community.

Gabrielle Kolaci, RDCS
Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center- Boston, MA
Gabrielle earned her bachelor's degree in health sciences from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2018, alongside her certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS). She launched her career at Massachusetts General Hospital before advancing to the role of lead sonographer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Gabrielle is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of sonographers and cardiology fellows, with a strong focus on education and hands-on training. She is also actively involved in conducting echocardiograms for research studies. Beyond her clinical experience, Gabrielle is also an adjunct professor at MCPHS, where she teaches echocardiography and assessment of cardiac pathology.

Lynsy Friend BS, ACS, RCS, FASE
Lynsy is the technical director and lead preceptor at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She graduated from Springfield College(MA) with a bachelor’s of science in Rehabilitation and Disability studies with a concentration in medical rehab, and a minor in nutrition and then attended Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute’s Adult Cardiac Ultrasound program graduating in 2008. She has a passion for education and mentoring. She codirects Dartmouth’s internal weekly imaging conference, helps with cardiology fellow bootcamps and oversees their grow your own sonographer program associated with Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute. She is actively involved with the ASE serving on the Mentorship Task force, finance committee (2022-2024), speaking at the scientific sessions and will soon start serving on the membership committee. In 2021, she received her Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) credential.
